The Hattiesburg Craft Beer Festival was established in 2013 when 28 breweries and 400 patrons came together to celebrate craft beer. We are excited about the 2nd year of this festival, and are expecting 600 people and more than 30 breweries to be in attendance.

The goal of this event is to support and expand the craft beer culture in Mississippi. Our state has seen a great deal of change over the last few years when it comes to craft beer. The Craft Beer Bill and Homebrewing Bill were signed into law, new beer shops and breweries have opened, craft beer sections have grown in grocery stores, homebrew and bottle share clubs have popped up across the state, and events like this festival are growing in popularity.

There is still further to go with craft beer throughout the South and especially in Mississippi. Through events like these, we hope to grow Hattiesburg into an even bigger hot spot for craft beer.
