VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers will be able to sign up for the tasks they are interested in volunteering for, as slots are available. Various tasks include event setup, takedown, and help during the event itself. Examples of volunteer opportunities during the event include brewery assistant, runner, housekeeping, ticket tent, info/tshirt tent, VIP tent, etc. Volunteers will have the opportunity to sign up for their preferred volunteer activity as long as slots are available.

VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION

There will be detailed volunteer information emailed to all volunteers, so please provide an email address you frequently check when registering. We will not spam you. There will also be a volunteer orientation before the Festival at Southern Prohibition Brewery on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 6PM. Volunteers are required to attend this orientation to meet their team captain and get a run-down of all duties for the Festival.

If you cannot attend orientation, please inform the Festival ahead of time by emailing hburgcraftbeerfest@gmail.com.

REQUIREMENTS

All volunteers must be at least 21 years of age. Most volunteer opportunities will require the volunteer to stand for lengths of time. A basic knowledge about craft beer is required for volunteers interested in assisting the brewery representatives. Otherwise, craft beer knowledge is not required.

VOLUNTEER PERKS

Food before the Festival starts, a festival shirt, time off from your shift to participate in the festival, the ability to work with great breweries and other volunteers, and a great experience at a fantastic event.

ATTIRE

Volunteers must wear the provided t-shirt at all times when working, which you will receive at volunteer orientation. Wear pants or shorts that are not torn or tattered. Closed-toe, non-slip comfortable shoes are recommended.

If you have any questions, feel free to email hburgcraftbeerfest@gmail.com.
